Welcome to the 12 Days of Relaxation Savasana Challenge Day 12. You made it!

Today, you get to celebrate with a wonderful yoga Nidra practice.

Nidra is a Sanksrit word that translates to sleep, so essentially this guided practice is designed to bring you into a state of restful wakefulness. Your body is asleep but your mind is peacefully alert.

There are different types of Yoga Nidra, but most forms follow a similar sequence of breathing techniques, guided relaxation, and guided imagery meditation. In a Yoga Nidra practice, you learn how to connect with your physical body, feelings, and emotions and how to move past pain, discomfort, and fear.
