Today’s Practice
Today’s practice is perfect for anyone who feels antsy about lying down and resting. When the body is active and jittery it’s hard for the mind to settle. Learn how to relax the body step-by-step, and the mind follows. The great thing about a Progressive Relaxation practice is that it gives the body and mind something concrete to focus on and you feel the effects right away.
Today you will rest for 20 minutes. When I rested for 20 minutes I felt the benefits of deep relaxation. However, I also had a hard time staying in the rest. Sometimes even though you know something is good for you it’s hard to stick with it. This is where guided practices can help you stay focused.
