Dear yogini,
Happy Autumn Equinox! I don’t have much to share to today, but I do want to officially welcome you into this new season.
Whether you like Autumn or not, make sure to set aside a little you-time every now and again. Downtime is your friend during this busy season.
As a gift to you, I’d like to share this week’s Full Moon yoga class. (Thanks to all of you who attended live and to the paid subscribers who have already watched the replay!) If you’re interested in joining us for live Full Moon yoga classes (they’re so much fun) or want to have access to the replays, please consider becoming a paid subscriber. Doing this one thing for you every month is a wonderful way to unwind, reset, and feel connected to natural cycles and a community of amazing women. The next class is on Wednesday, October 16 at 7:30pm ET.
At the end of this class, I share a nice Yoga Nidra practice that invites you to do some mental harvesting. There’s time at the end to reflect and journal about your experience. It’s a nice way to set the tone for the coming season.
Enjoy your week! May there be much pumpkin spice, cool evenings, bonfires, crunching leaves, apple cider (bonus if they’re donuts), and all manner of cozy, fall-themed treats and treasures.
P.S. - Check out this awesome photo of the September Harvest Moon with partial lunar eclipse! This was shared by one of my students and taken by her husband. Thanks for sharing Shelvie!
With gratitude,
Ashley
What a wonderful welcome to the season. I am going to DM you a yoga poem that may work well this time of year.
Have just done this practice and it was medicine. Especially the restorative. Thank you xx
