Thank you Imola! It truly is my favorite personal mantra :)

It take intention to create that complete presence, but it happens most naturally in the deserts of Utah and when I take moment to be with the autumn trees. Also, when writing poetry.

nature is so amazing, especially out West. And being lost in the flow of writing is so special too. My writing is always so analytical, so I'm always in my head, but I can imagine that writing poetry is a beautiful experience of spirit flow.

Wow! I knew I'd love this series!! Our stories feel so similar. I have also struggled in laying down ambition to be at home with my kids. My true presence involves one major thing - having my phone put away when I'm with them. I think it distracts even when in the room, this is something I write about a lot. I'm excited to read more!

So glad you found it. The phone is so hard for me. I've only been at home for the past couple weeks with the kids and I've noticed how addicted I am to my screen. We have a "station" in our house for phones that I need to be more intentional about using. Thanks for the reminder!

The universe works in mysterious ways :) These moments of synchronicity are always so perfect. Thanks for reading.

Ambition is a sly fox, stealing us away from the peace we truly desire. I feel you on this ambition piece and I’m digging into what it could be inside of me that allows ambition to pull me away from things that matter more.

For me it's the external validation. Ambition is rewarded externally. Peace is rewarded internally.

I hear you re: child's play. Sometimes I find it boring or unrelatable. Though other times, I find it cute and inspiring:). I was a stay-at-home mom for 8 years and then at a point of burnout, I decided to work (just a little) now that the kids are both in full-day school. The 'nows' that I have when they're in school are so refreshing after having so little time to myself over the years, and it makes the 'nows' I have with my kids that much more precious! Thanks for sharing this topic in such a relatable way. I love the Yoga Sutras!

Thanks for sharing your own experience! I soak up all the nows, both with and without kids! I have a long way to go before I get all kids in full-day school, lol.
