Oh gosh so much nourishment in this interview! Thank you so much both, I loved what Patty says about our practice and motherhood… that landed so deep in the phase I’m in. X
Thank you for sharing your camaraderie and love, Lauren. I definitely feel how important this inquiry is to your life right now...and I am so happy to be sharing that with you. 💖 Radical acceptance of what actually_is_ happening, is the foundation of true inquiry. Onward we go, together!!
I love hearing from those of us on the journey to fullness together. Thank you so much for being here
This is a precious interview. Thanks, @Patty Townsend for sharing your wisdom and experience. Motherhood is so very hard AND I also agree that it is such an advanced type of yoga. I love that last paragraph too, that emphasizes inquiry and how that really is practice, even when we feel like we're not fulfilling that mainstream idea of yoga practice.
Hi Jacquie, How nice to see and appreciate your comment. Yes, motherhood. What a shock to the system and then what a powerful process for inquiry! Those of us who have chosen motherhood as an integral part of our paths, with all of its emotional content, have a very particular spiritual journey. In claiming it as real practice we can frame every day, every tantrum, every moment of grace and love, the endless tasks, the whole thing as what it is — among other practices — for honing more clarity and deepening awareness: yoga.

Yes! It was such a relief to hear someone talking about yoga in this way from this generation of teachers.
