7-day Squat Challenge: Day 1

2 minutes of Utkatasana

Utkatasana (Fierce or Firebolt Pose) is one of my least favorite yoga poses, but often we most need what we resist.

This pose builds strength, stamina, discipline, and heat. You’ll feel energized and accomplished when you’re done! It is incredibly grounding even as it challenges your thighs and mind—a great pose for connecting to Earth and Fire.

Bonus: you'll see guest appearances from my listening-to-instructions-challenged children 😊.
