You made it to day 7!
Today we’re revisiting Goddess, but adding in some flourishes to celebrate. Even if you didn’t squat every day for the past seven days, it’s important to celebrate showing up. In my opinion, that’s the hardest part of yoga (and life).
The Goddess shows up even when she doesn’t want to. Consistency, loyalty, and responsibility are some of her superpowers. They’re not sexy or unique—they’re mundane and boring. It’s those mundane and boring aspects of life that we’re most likely to skip over. But those are the aspects that build the foundation from which we thrive.
So let’s explore Goddess together again with some new variations. Have some fun and give yourself a big pat on the back when you finish.
As my son screams out at the end of the video:
“You did it!” 😊
What’s next?
So now what? Keep squatting, keep moving, keep showing up for your practice. All it takes is a couple minutes a day. Maybe you’re breathing, getting present, meditating, practicing mudra, chanting. Show up for yourself and your energy every day in some small way and watch how you strengthen, adapt, and become more confident. By embracing these qualities, you embody the Goddess.
