Ananda Balasana (Happy Baby) is all about flexibility. Though you may feel challenged or limited physically in this posture, it asks you to also find the joy of rocking around on your back like a baby first finding her feet.
The squat position can be experienced in many orientations. Though most people think of a squat as a standing posture, you can experience different sensations by experimenting with the same position in different orientations to gravity. Happy Baby can be a vulnerable position. It asks you to surrender. It also invites you to choose joy and lightness even if your hips feel tight.
